Laura McNicholas established and runs 925 Productions in Dublin. 925 develops and produces TV drama and feature films. Their debut feature film 'Spilt Milk' had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights International Film Festival in late 2024 and has just been nominated for four IFTA's - Best Film, Best Director, Best Script and Best Costume Design. Further festivals will be announced shortly. 'Spilt Milk' was financed with the support of Screen Ireland, Coimisiun na Mean, RTE and Screen Scotland.
New projects on the 925 slate include YES! - an edgy contemporary relationship drama in development with the support of RTE and Screen Ireland. The influencer mystery drama 'Honestly' and the features 'The Mount' and 'The Sharp End' are all in development with the support of Screen Ireland with the TV drama 'The Liberties' financing with the US distributor Dynamic TV.
A member of Screen Producers Ireland and an alumni of TorinoFilmLab SeriesLab and the Rotterdam Producers Lab - 925 attends markets including Series Mania, Content London, MIA, Cannes, Berlin and Galway. Laura studied English Literature and History at University College Dublin and began her career producing fringe theatre and short films before working in distribution and as a production executive.
