The WGI is the representative body in Ireland for writers for the stage, screen, radio and digital media. The Guild is an organisation run by writers for writers.
Screen Ireland is the national development agency for Irish filmmaking and the Irish film, television and animation industry. The agency provides a range of development funding programmes to enable writers, directors and producers to develop and prepare a screenplay project for production | Screen Ireland development funding.
Screen Skills Ireland is the national training and development resource specifically created for the Irish screen sectors.
Screen Skills Ireland run training programmes and master classes for all areas of film including screenwriting. Their courses often offer a good opportunity to meet other writers, directors and producers.

Screen Producers Ireland is the representative body for independent Film, TV, Animation and Digital production companies operating in Ireland, we do not produce any programming ourselves.
