Alfonso Films is a female led production company based in Dublin.

One thing that makes Alfonso unique, is that the three of us combined have extensive experience across a diverse range of departments and skill sets within the industry. For the last few years we have been out in the world of film perfecting our skills in casting, development, writing, directing, producing and post production. We are honing all of those skills we learned as individuals to become a stronger team and a one stop shop in the Irish screen industry.

Our ambition is not to create content we have already seen, it’s not to tell the stories we’ve already heard or meet the characters we’ve already met. We promise ourselves and each other to always examine, improve and interrogate everything we embark on, and to create work that is different, provocative and bold.

We are passionate about discovering new and exciting talent. We want to pass a mic to under-represented voices in screen and work to correct the imbalances both in front of and behind the camera. The more diversity and inclusion in the film industry and on our screens, the richer our stories become.

We promise to push ourselves by always working with the best. So when we assemble a team for any project we know it’s a winning one. Most of all, we love to have fun, if the team behind the camera loves what they do then it shows on screen. We work hard but never stop laughing!
