Icebox Films was established in 2000 to create, develop and produce high quality and original output for film and TV. Since then the company has produced a range of programming for RT͉ and TG4 including MnÍ¡ and FÍr na h͉ireann, Christmas special Go mBeirimÍd Beo, feature-length drama Home for Christmas, nominated for five IFTA’s, six-part TV drama series Leg" and factual documentary series Ar Bruacha na Life.
Since 2006 the company has produced a range of high quality, award winning documentaries for RT͉ including Charles Haughey: Patronising the Arts, Being John Banville, Hugh Leonard: Odd Man In, Colum McCann Becoming a New Yorker and Seamus Heaney Out of the Marvellous, IFTA Winner Best Single Documentary, Winner Celtic Media Festival and Bronze Medal New York International Festival.
