Cláracha Gaeilge, Education and Science is now seeking two, one-off documentaries that continue RTÉ’s commitment to covering deaf issues. These will play in the prime-time RTÉ One schedules in 2018.
Proposals should be ambitious and editorially challenging, can deal with issues or personal stories, can be forward looking or retrospective and can be authored or observational. RTÉ is not seeking personality or individual profiles. All proposals should be rooted in what has been, or what is, an Irish deaf experience. Particular consideration will be afforded proposals that have achievable and practical on-line aspects and that can be re-positioned for formal learning and public education purposes.
