Theyare looking for a range of programme ideas, from authored one-offs (1x52” – thinkThe Great Wealth Divide) to formatted factual series (up to 3x52) that explorethe issue.
Ireland has often been referred to as a relatively classless society, but is that true? Are there distinct classes to which we all belong? What are they? Are they demarcated by an income bracket or a mindset? Are our lives defined by the class into which we’re born? Are our futures dictated by where we’re born? Is social mobility a thing in Ireland? Is there a new aristocracy in Ireland? Who are they? Are class and inequality the same thing?
