Regional and Wildlife- RTÉ 2
No. of Episodes/Duration: Up to 10 by 52 minutes, (Contestable with other genre outputs).
Budget: 85k – 95k per hour
Seeking new programme proposals that reflect the realities of contemporary Ireland, targeting the 25 – 44 age group. Ideas can be authored documentaries or observational series.Tonally, the aim of these commissions is to either offer dramatic documentary series with great story telling and which have humanity at their heart or to offer theaudience escapist and fun stories and formats that provide insight into life in modern Ireland.
Factual- RTÉ2
Slot: 10 Hours Autumn 2017
Budget: 85K -95K (per hour)
Target: 15-44
RTÉ Factual is seeking new proposals to build on and broaden the recent slate of successful documentary output on RTÉ2.Tonally, these can range from lighter factual, and colorful contemporary impulses – for example in the spheres of Property, Money, Relationships and Health – to more sober or gritty aspects of modern life – for example in the area of law enforcement, or public controversies.
Lifestyle- RTÉ 2
Slot: 10 Hours Autumn 2017
Budget: 85K -95K per hour
Target: 15-44
RTÉ are looking for documentary singles, series and formats for RTÉ2 for autumn 2017. Theyare also looking for documentary series. These should have a broad appeal but skew younger than RTÉ ONE. Fixed rig and observational shows around Health, Education or Law or Enforcement could work. So too could escapist and aspirational programming.
