Coimisiún na Meán: 'Shared Island, Shared Stories’ call for applications issued

Coimisiún na Meán is today (21.05.2026) calling for applications for the first ‘Shared Island Shared Stories’ funding round. The funding round, operated under An Coimisiún’s Sound & Vision Scheme and part of the Shared Island Media Fund, is for broadcasters and independent producers and will support the creation of high-quality programming for television and radio that promotes cultural exchange, exploration of the island’s heritage and cross-border collaboration.

This round closes at 12 noon on Thursday, 02 July 2026. Decisions are expected by the end of September 2026.

A webinar for prospective applicants will take place on MS Teams at 12 noon on Wednesday 27 May 2026. Applicants are invited to register for the event.
