Course Opportunity- How to Successfully Produce a European Co-Pro with Erich Pommer Institut

Screen Ireland is delighted to partner with the Erich Pommer Institut to offer 15 places to Irish producers to attend European Co-Production online. This course consists of 9 chapters, totalling 12–16 hours learning time and can be accessed over a 6-month period in your own time.

The course covers how to produce a successful European Co-Production, including funding strategies and legal frameworks through to sales agents and revenue sharing. The course is delivered by leading experts - acclaimed financial and legal experts and top-level producers. It is illustrated with exclusive and comprehensive case studies: A Most Wanted Man (GER|UK; starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel McAdams & Daniel Brühl); Louder Than Bombs (NOR|F|DK; starring Gabriel Byrne, Isabelle Huppert & Jessie Eisenberg).

This online course is aimed at Producers who wish to understand the key elements of European Co-Production. It is suitable for producers at an emerging to intermediate level, who have industry track record, having made industry shorts/a first feature film. Producers who are about to approach their first significant co-production.
