Creative Europe MEDIA: Eight New Calls for Funding

Creative Europe MEDIA has published eight new calls for funding proposals. The calls that have opened are:

  • TV & Online Content. Deadline 5th December 2024 and 14th May 2025. This funding strengthens the independence of producers in relation to broadcasters and digital platforms. It enhances collaboration between operators, including independent producers, broadcasters, digital platforms and sales agents. Particular attention will be given to projects presenting innovative aspects in the content and financing that show a clear link with the envisaged distribution strategies.

  • MEDIA 360. Deadline: 9th January 2025. MEDIA 360 will develop audiovisual hubs capable of proposing a strategic set of activities which respond to key opportunities and challenges at the European level. MEDIA 360 will support a package of activities implementing a shared vision and objectives with an impact across the value-chain.

  • Innovative Tools & Business Models. Deadline 16th January 2025. Funds the development and spread of innovative tools and business models to improve the visibility, availability, audience and diversity of European works in the digital age as well as competitiveness and greening of the European audiovisual industry.

  • Video Games & Immersive Content. Deadline: 12th February 2025. Increases the capacity of European video game producers, XR studios and audiovisual production companies to develop video games and interactive immersive experiences with the potential to reach global audiences.

  • Films on the Move. Deadline: 20th March 2025. Support the wider distribution of recent non-national European films by encouraging sales agents and theatrical distributors in particular to invest in promotion and adequate distribution of non- national European films.

  • Audience Development and Film Education. Deadline: 27th March 2025. Promotes European audiovisual works, including heritage works, and support the engagement and development of audiences of all ages, in particular young audiences, across Europe and beyond.

  • Skills & Talent Development. Deadline 24th April 2025. Enhances the capacity of audiovisual professionals to adapt to new creative processes, market developments and digital technologies that affect the whole value chain.
