RTÉ Nationwide Tender 2026: Opportunity for Regional Producers

Fri 7th August 2026

RTÉ has launched its latest Nationwide Panel Tender 2026 (26P038), inviting independent production companies from across the island of Ireland to join the programme's supplier panel.

This tender places a strong emphasis on regional production. RTÉ is actively seeking suppliers from different parts of the country, recognising that local knowledge and community connections are often the key to finding the best stories.

The tender is divided into four lots, allowing companies to bid for the areas that best match their expertise. Whether you're an experienced independent producer, a regional production company or a supplier of editing services looking to expand your client base, there are opportunities across the production process. Strong editorial judgement, reliability and an understanding of public service broadcasting are likely to be just as important as technical skills.

For decades, Nationwide has built its reputation on telling authentic stories from every county in Ireland. Production companies who can demonstrate genuine local knowledge, trusted contacts and a track record of finding original stories are likely to be well placed.

The programme's remit remains broad, covering everything from heritage and innovation to community life, culture, enterprise, the environment and the people shaping modern Ireland.
